Are you trustworthy? Is my money going to disappear? How do I know you're really donating to the Trevor Project?

In order: Yes, no, and once monthly I batch up orders into a donation. I keep record of these donations and a list of order numbers that made up each donation - feel free to email me if you'd like to see yours.

I have a watch already. What band will fit?

The important measurement you need to find: lug width.

Usually you can google the specific model number of your watch with the words "lug width" to get the size you'll need to use, but if you don't know your model number, you need to get out a ruler and measure the distance between the insides of the lugs - the bits of the watch that stick out where the band attaches.

Still not sure? Get in touch to check before you buy.

My watch is a smart watch. Is that okay?

Yes! Just make sure that if your watch uses skin contact for health sensors, that you get a two-piece strap. Double-check the lug width of your smart watch - Apple Watches will require adapters.

I am looking for [style] in [width]. Are you planning on making it?

Almost certainly, but choosing which style to make next is a tough decision. If you want me to let you know when I've made a given style in a given width, contact me! If I get lots of requests for a particular style, it makes it easier to justify the up-front cost.

I don't have a watch yet. Where do I start?

Welcome to the hobby! I've put together a short list of watches that, in my opinion, are good watches for the money that are made by reputable manufacturers.

20mm lug width:

This is one of the most common sizes for watches marketed to men. You'll find many watches from $30-$30k with this lug size, especially modern watches.

38mm Timex Weekender link ✔️ $40 analog quartz Field watch that looks great with anything. Simple, legible dial. Ticks really loud.
Casio CA-53W link ✔️ $25 digital quartz Calculator watch!
Invicta Pro Diver 40mm link ✔️ $80 automatic mechanical Dive watch. 200m water resistance and a Seiko-built automatic movement for an awesome price.

18mm lug width:

This is another very common size for men's watches, especially watches on the smaller size. Many affordable Seiko models have 18mm lugs, so if you're interested in a mechanical watch, this could be a good choice.
